Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is in need of a Telecommute Carbon Registry Senior Program Officer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying opportunities and partners for business development / market expansion
- Overseeing the accurate and timely review and approval of documents
- Managing multidisciplinary teams for standards and/or methodology development and approval
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Represent the company at meetings with clients, regulatory agencies and other organizations
- Deep expertise in GHG accounting, verification and auditing standards and procedures
- Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Forestry, Agriculture, or related field
- At least 15 years of business experience
- At least 10 years of direct experience working with projects in the carbon, ecosystem, sustainability, supply chain, etc
- Demonstrated project management ability
