A company that provides medical benefits management solutions needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Cardiology Associate Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing appeals for denied services
- Providing timely peer-to-peer discussions with referring physicians
- Participating in strategic planning and evaluation of the Care Management process/unit
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license and board certified in Cardiology
- Recent practice experience in direct patient care (within the past 18 months)
- 5 years clinical experience, beyond residency/fellowship
- Familiarity with automated processes and computer applications and systems
