Job Summary
A provider of technology-enabled coding services is filling a position for a Telecommute Cardiology Medical Coding Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing accurate coding services (diagnoses, conditions and procedures) for hospital services
- Using codes and modifiers with CPT; Dx; HCPCS; and ICD10
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be AAPC or AHIMA certified; CPC, CCS, or equivalent
- Minimum of three years' experience with pro-fee and E/M hospital coding
- Must have CPT; DxDxHCPCS; Modifiers; ICD10 coding experience
- Three years experience with MIPS
- Ability to code accurately and maintain a quality score of 95% or greater
- Position will be required to pass baseline testing
