Job Summary

An independently owned university has an open position for a Telecommute Certified Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Upload tickets and referrals
• Assist with efforts to increase provider awareness of documentation requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA and best practices
• Excellent coding skills
• Two plus years of coding experience
• Registered Heath Information Technician or Certified Professional Coder
