Job Summary

A patient care company has a current position open for a Telecommute Certified Home Health Medical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Accurately assign ICD-10-CM codes to diagnoses from care plans, and documentation submitted by the client
• Perform OASIS review in accordance with guidelines
• Follow-up with clients to obtain missing or incomplete information

Qualifications for this position include:

• ICD-10 Home Health Certification (HCS-D or BCHH-C)
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in coding/OASIS review with a home health agency
• Proficiency in multiple EMR systems
• Adept with PC skills including use of Microsoft applications
