Job Summary
A staffing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Certified IP Coder Manager in Las Vegas.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing the functions of System Manager HIM Coding, overseeing, directing and guiding the coding staff
- Being responsible and accountable for accurate coding and DRG assignment
- Coordinating meetings with Ancillary Departments regarding coding compliance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel between multiple facilities
- Five years coding experience in an acute care setting
- Two or more years experience in a supervisory role
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Health Information Management or related field
- RHIA or RHIT, as well as CCS, are required
- All other requirements listed on the job lead
