Job Summary

A health service company has an open position for a Telecommute Certified Medical Coder.

Must be able to:

  • Provide feedback to clients regarding issues in coding and documentation
  • Oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of training issues, following issues through to completion
  • Participate in work flow discussions to maximize throughput and modify SOP & QA program

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Certified coder through AAPC, AHIMA or RBMA. Previous coding experience
  • Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary for accuracy
  • Works well as a member of a group
  • Be inspired to perform without outside help
  • Be a self-starter with flexibility to function with one's own goals and schedule
