Job Summary
A vision company is seeking a Telecommute Certified Medical Coder in Phoenix.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with team members, clinic staff, payers and patients
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality with all healthcare information
- Assign ICD-10 diagnoses and CPT procedure codes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Work onsite for 6 months
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certified Processional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- 5 years medical billing or coding experience
- Active knowledge of CMS guidelines, contracted insurance guidelines and coding policies
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
