A staffing agency is seeking a Telecommute Certified Medical Coder in Richmond.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
- Identify, collect, assess, monitor and document claims
- Review medical record information
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- MUST be certified through the AAPC or AHIMA for AT LEAST 3 years
- 2+ years of working as a certified medical coder
- Coding certification through AHIMA/ AAPC is required
- Technically savvy
