Job Summary

A health services company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Certified Neurosurgery Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Abstracting all CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM
• Entering data into client software and/or Excel reports
• Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and standards

Position Requirements Include:

• Must be a certified CPC coder through AAPC
• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience required abstract coding
• CPT, E&M, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes from medical records experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and EMR
• Must have experience with data entry of codes into a database and/or software tool
