Job Summary
A military support company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Certified Personal Financial Counselor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Teaching Service members (and their families) money management techniques
- Educating military families on the importance of maintaining excellent credit histories and ratings
- Identifying immediate and long range measures to increase income, reduce household expenditures, etc
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel up to 10% including some weekends with advanced notice
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree coupled with 2+ years of experience in financial counseling or education
- National certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) OR Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
