Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Telecommute Certified Professional Coder in Philadelphia.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Reviewing computer output to validate diagnosis and procedures codes
• Applying in-depth knowledge of coding principles to validate missing, incomplete or incorrect CPT and diagnosis codes
• Managing individual and team quality of work toward meeting or exceeding SLA targets

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 5 years of medical coding experience
• Must be a certified professional coder
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM outpatient diagnosis coding guidelines
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
