Job Summary
A healthcare support services provider is in need of a Telecommute Certified Tumor Registrar.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Generate reports based on data to Hospital Cancer Registry
- Perform casefinding, abstracting and analysis of confidential patient data
- Ensure accurate follow-up is completed on each case
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Telework for a few days a week as needed
- Certificate as a Certified Tumor Registrar through the National Cancer Registrars Association
- 3+ years as a certified Cancer Registrar and/or Abstractor in an established cancer program
- Associate’s degree in Health Sciences, Health Information Technology or equivalent experience
