Job Summary
A private research university and institute for higher education is seeking a Telecommute Certified Tumor Registrar.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identifying patients alleged to have specific disease diagnoses
- Confirming the diagnosis clinically or pathologically
- Determining whether these patients meet specific criteria for inclusion in a database
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Tumor Registrar
- Ability to abstract demographic, diagnostic, and epidemiologic treatment information
- Ability to follows up with patients, physicians, and clinics
