Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Certified Tumor Registrar in Cleveland.
Must be able to:
- Provide abstracting, case finding and follow-up services to clients
- Monitor and evaluate the activities of the Cancer Registry
- Respond to data requests and generation of outcome reports and interpretation
Qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Cancer Registrar (CTR)
- College level courses in Medical terminology, Anatomy and Physiology
- 3 years' supervisory experience in ACoS-approved Hospital based cancer registry
- Knowledge of North American Association of Central Cancer Registries Standards
- Direct experience with American College of Surgeons Survey under new standards
- Hands-on abstracting experience with 1.25 cases per hour productivity and 97% accuracy rate
