Job Summary

A healthcare business and operational services provider is in need of a Telecommute Certified Tumor Registrar in Jacksonville.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Complete case-finding for their assigned facilities
• Review of medical records to abstract information according to the standards of the American College of Surgeons
• Complete edit checks and make appropriate changes on a timely basis

Qualifications Include:

• High school degree (or equivalent) required
• Knowledge of disease index and pathology reports
• Computer skills, including data input, Meditech and other required software
• 3-5 years of Cancer Data Abstraction or Medical Records experience
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) designation required
