Job Summary

A healthcare revenue cycle management services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Charge Audit Nurse.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing adjusted claims to ensure proper payment
  • Ensuring billed charges are accurate and supported by medical record documentation
  • Documenting all pertinent information into the patient’s account notes

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Possess an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with 3 years' clinical experience
  • Certified coder (RHIT, CCS)
  • Medical chart auditing experience
  • Knowledge of coding, billing, and charging processes required
  • Epic experience
