Job Summary
A furniture retailer is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Chief Merchandising Officer in Omaha.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Recruiting and hiring qualified staff in cooperation with Human Resources
- Ensuring the accurate execution of merchandise financial plans into store floor real estate
- Developing strategic goals with each vendor for sales growth and inventory investment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to attend and actively participate in all scheduled training events
- 10+ years of senior management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or better in Merchandising-Home Furnishings or related field
- High level negotiation and contract management experience
- Extensive experience working at strategic and executive management level in a similar position
