Job Summary

A furniture retailer is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Chief Merchandising Officer in Omaha.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Recruiting and hiring qualified staff in cooperation with Human Resources
  • Ensuring the accurate execution of merchandise financial plans into store floor real estate
  • Developing strategic goals with each vendor for sales growth and inventory investment

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to attend and actively participate in all scheduled training events
  • 10+ years of senior management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or better in Merchandising-Home Furnishings or related field
  • High level negotiation and contract management experience
  • Extensive experience working at strategic and executive management level in a similar position
