Job Summary

A nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Chief Operating Officer in Palo Alto.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Supervising five to seven executive-level staff
  • Setting comprehensive short- and medium-term KPI’s and performance goals based on yearly organizational objectives
  • Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the org per the direction of the CEO

Qualifications Include:

  • Works remotely three days a week
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • At least seven years’ experience as COO or CFO
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in a senior management role, partnering with executive staff and Board
  • Experience working with finance, information technology, human resources, and legal issues
