Job Summary

An insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Claims Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses and other appropriate parties to obtain information
  • Document related files regarding results of investigation and negotiations
  • Prepare reports to file on established diary dates

Qualifications Include:

  • Attends meetings as necessary
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • 3-5 years’ experience in clinical nursing and/or 3-5 years claims experience dealing with serious bodily injury
  • Knowledge of medical, legal and insurance terminology
  • Must hold a current driver's license
  • Must meet all other listed company requirements
