Telecommute Clamps Design Engineer in Huntersville

Job Summary

A manufacturing company is in need of a Telecommute Clamps Design Engineer in Huntersville.

Must be able to:

• Create/develop models, drawings, prototypes, BOMS, cost info, etc and complete necessary product testing
• Document and maintain product development schedules utilizing MS project or equivalent software
• Work in coordination with Product Management, Marketing, Operations and Customer Base teams to transform customer input into robust designs

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Min of 5 years of related experience in product design
• 3-D CAD/CAE & SURFACING exposure and Creo preferred
• Design Experience in a manufacturing environment where a moderate volume of mechanical components are made/used is essential
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation methods (bills of materials, routings, and tool lists, etc)
• Experience with generating 3D Models in CAD (Creo preferred, SolidWorks) 3D Surfacing
