Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Clerical Healthcare Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Using good listening skills, conducts outreach calls, collecting data according to script, tools, and protocols
- Supporting the daily operations of Utilization Management team through interaction with staff, facilities, vendors and providers
- Creating, updating, maintaining and/or closing authorizations or tasks for services as assigned within process guidelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel: Yes, 15 % of the Time
- High School Diploma
- Experience in an administrative or technical support capacity involving heavy multitasking
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows based environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or Cable modem for a home office
