Job Summary
A revenue cycle management (RCM) and health information management (HIM) solutions company is in need of a Telecommute Clinical Abstraction Registered Nurse in Minneapolis.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing pre-admission, admission, concurrent and retrospective data abstraction on selected cases
- Performing quality monitoring and supporting other nurses performing data abstraction
- Conducting medical record reviews and abstraction for dialysis and renal disease patients
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing minimum
- 3-5 years of inpatient hospital RN experience
- Active Minnesota RN License
- Ability to maintain accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the data entered into the systems
- Ability to ensure complete data collection and entry from database into electronic medical record including signing of all documentation entered into the record
- Ability to conduct medical record reviews and abstraction for dialysis and renal disease patients
