Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Clinical Appeals and Coding Registered Nurse.
Must be able to:
- Review coding edits and reimbursement issues
- Work with less structured, more complex issues
- Solve moderately complex problems and / or conduct moderately complex analyses
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Active, unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence
- 3+ years of experience dealing with coding and claim edits
- 3+ years clinical experience in a hospital, acute care, or direct care setting
- Medical record review/ appeal review experience
- Proficient level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare
