Job Summary

A healthcare technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Clinical Appeals Nurse.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Being responsible for the clinical review and interpretation of medical records
  • Being responsible for providing outstanding customer service to internal project teams
  • Responding timely to clinical review requests/inquiries

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing with an active, unencumbered license
  • Be a Registered Nurse in at least one state in the United States
  • Five to ten years of bedside experience in an acute care setting
  • Experience in utilization review or case management is preferred
  • Ability to follow all HIPAA guidelines
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based healthcare systems
