Job Summary
A healthcare technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Clinical Coder Nurse Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing cases, ensuring accurate and clinical documentation
- Assisting in making coding policy decisions
- Keeping abreast of technology changes, regulatory issues, and medical practice
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years of clinical experience working as a Registered Nurse
- Risk adjustment coding experience (3 years) and/or the AAPC CRC certification
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 CM guidelines and appropriate clinical documentation
- Experience reviewing clinical cases
- High level of expertise in navigating EMRs
- Must currently have AAPC CRC certification or be willing to become certified within the first 3 months of employment
