Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Clinical Documentation Improvement Liaison in Nashville.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Facilitating Coder/CDI worksheet MS-DRG mismatch at the time of final coding and escalates per established protocol
- Tracking, trending, and comparison of CDI reconciliation data for accuracy
- Proactively managing hospital CDI and HSC MS-DRG mismatch request reviews
Qualifications for this position include:
- Organizes and/or participates with CDI in Division and hospital collaboration meetings
- Minimum 5 years' recent inpatient hospital coding experience required
- Minimum 3 years' health care management/leadership experience
- Coding Technical Skills - regulatory coding (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, ICD-9-CM, MS-DRGs, APR DRGs, POA Assignment)
- High school graduate or GED required
- RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS required
