Job Summary

A healthcare provider is seeking a Telecommute Clinical Documentation Improvement Supervisor in Des Moines.

Must be able to:

  • Assess, monitor, and coordinate daily coverage for concurrent case reviews
  • Troubleshoot process issues related to the CDI program and serves as a liaison
  • Complete physician query reconciliation process for staff that is out of the office

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Must remain active with all annual licensing requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of acute care nursing experience is required
  • Minimum of five (5) years CDI specialist experience
  • Knowledge of ICD CM/PCS coding guidelines and conventions
  • Previous experience with chart review or chart auditing of the medical records
