Job Summary
A healthcare provider is seeking a Telecommute Clinical Documentation Improvement Supervisor in Des Moines.
Must be able to:
- Assess, monitor, and coordinate daily coverage for concurrent case reviews
- Troubleshoot process issues related to the CDI program and serves as a liaison
- Complete physician query reconciliation process for staff that is out of the office
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Must remain active with all annual licensing requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of acute care nursing experience is required
- Minimum of five (5) years CDI specialist experience
- Knowledge of ICD CM/PCS coding guidelines and conventions
- Previous experience with chart review or chart auditing of the medical records
