Job Summary
An information technology company is in need of a Telecommute Clinical Informaticist Research Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identify and create a body of research and analysis
- Advising clients on technology strategy for achieving major healthcare objectives
- Advising clients onemerging innovations in related healthcare technologies
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel to speak at conferences and to attend vendor briefings, vendor events, and client meetings or exhibitions
- 10+ years experience in the Healthcare industry: Health systems, Healthcare technology provider
- At least 5 years of relevant IT experience on strategic care delivery technology
- Excellent understanding of information technology in health systems, its architecture, and connecting the value of IT to healthcare objectives
- Understanding of the context of healthcare in different regions of the globe
- Understanding of the major forces impacting healthcare and how technology can be applied to create value for the health outcomes, quality, cost, and patient experience
- Experience in the use and application of advanced analytics in healthcare
