Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Clinical Review Physician .

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reviewing all cases in which clinical determinations cannot be made by the Initial Clinical Reviewer
  • Discussing determinations with requesting physicians or ordering providers
  • Providing clinical rationale for standard and expedited appeals

Required Skills:

  • Attends hearings
  • MD with specialization in cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, surgery, emergency medicine
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine
  • 5-8 years experience
  • Must meet all other listed company requirements
