Job Summary

An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Cloud Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing, planning, and integrating cloud computing and virtualization systems
  • Developing and conducting testing of cloud and virtualization systems
  • Evaluating and reporting on new cloud and virtualization technologies

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
  • BA/BS engineering or related IT, System Engineering, or STEM degree (or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree)
  • 14+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or related
  • Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture, operations, DevOps, or administration and experience with cloud automation and scripting
  • In depth understanding of Cloud Migration methodologies and best practices and familiar with Agile project management procedures
  • Experience creating deployment scripts and experience with containers
