Job Summary
An enterprise software company is seeking a Telecommute Cloud Infrastructure Automation Senior Software Development Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and developing automation tools to support the network infrastructure, network monitoring, server deployment, configuration, and other cloud infrastructure areas
- Defining and executing innovative ways to deploy, operate and monitor systems at scale
- Working with hardware vendors on implementing new hardware and software features
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 6 years of proven, related experience and a strong operation automation background
- Advanced programming or scripting skills and experience with a focus on JavaScript/Python programming languages
- Experience developing web-based database applications using MySQL or other relational databases
- Solid foundation in networking protocols, equipment, and vendors with experience in automated network incident management, device configuration, change management, network operations, etc.
