Job Summary

A computer software company has an open position for a Telecommute Cloud Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineering Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor and lead a globally distributed team
  • Participate in software engineering and write code
  • Monitor the company platform and Cloud infrastructure

Qualifications for this position include:

  • You are a seasoned SRE
  • Experience leading teams of engineers (people manager, tech lead)
  • Comfortable writing software to automate API-driven tasks at scale
  • 3 years of experience using a public Cloud; AWS, GCP, Azure, SoftLayer or OpenStack
  • Have used Ansible, Puppet, Chef or another config management suite
  • Experience with project and roadmap planning
