Job Summary
A financial information company is filling a position for a Telecommute Cloud Operations Infrastructure Architecture Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing guidance and setting direction for architectural and development activities
- Working with both onsite and remote teams to ensure that high-quality solutions are delivered in a timely fashion
- Performing proof-of-concept work
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience
- Deep technical understanding of architecture and engineering best practices
- Experience building distributed architectures and delivering solutions in a complex, globally distributed infrastructure
- Proven ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products
- 10+ years of practical, hands-on experience
- Expertise with both Linux and Windows technologies
