Job Summary
A news publishing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Cloud Provisioning Senior Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Build solutions that reduce friction for product engineers
- Promote the use of modern automation around access management and Infrastructure-as-code
- Promote best practices through RFCs, blameless postmortems, technical talks, and tooling
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with Linux-flavored cloud tooling
- Experienced with Infrastructure-as-code concepts, with a focus on Terraform and Drone
- A good grasp of multi-tier application architecture
- Able to help optimize or debug systems written in Go, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript, and Ruby
- A passion for automating things
- Good concept of networking, load balancing, and monitoring
