Job Summary

A faith-based healthcare organization is in need of a Telecommute Coder II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing review functions associated with accurate code assignment
• Assigning diagnosis and procedure codes following ICD-9 and 10 Official Coding Guidelines
• Assigning correct ASC/APC modifiers

Qualifications for this position include:

• Registered as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or high school graduate with certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• A minimum of one year outpatient coding experience preferred for an emergency room and other outpatient coding
• Computer proficiency required
