Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Coding Analyst.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Researching manuals/guidelines once an appeal is received
- Customizing and/or creating appeal letters in a professional manner
- Handling appeals and/or telephone/email inquiries related to determination of appeal
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years healthcare and medical claims processing experience
- Proficiency in Medical coding and use of various research materials
- CPC or equivalent credentialing, maintained in good status
- Diligent research and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
