Job Summary
A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Coding Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Collecting and analyzing medical records
- Identifying HCC diagnosis codes for data collection
- Formulating solutions based on medical record audit trends
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 3 years as a medical records coder in a physician office, hospital, or insurance/coding office OR
- Any combination of education and experience which provides an equivalent background
- CPC certification from an accredited source
- Ability to strictly follow company's corporate and CMS coding and education guidelines
