Job Summary

A healthcare center is in need of a Telecommute Coding Auditor in Seattle.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitoring and overseeing the coding integrity program
  • Assessing and developing resources/materials as well as conduct trainings to assure accurate coding
  • Developing competencies and quality assessment tools for education/compliance requirements

Qualifications Include:

  • Registered Health Information Technologist or Registered Health Information Administrator or Certified Coding Specialist
  • Experience performing hospital based inpatient and outpatient coding
  • Experience training and/or teaching in an acute care hospital setting
  • Advanced knowledge of coding principles, disease process andDRG assignment function
