Job Summary
A tutoring company is seeking a Telecommute College Admissions Counselor in New York City.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Covering every step of the application process
- Helping to ensure each student is accepted to their top ranked colleges
Position Requirements Include:
- 3+ years working as an admissions officer/reader at a selective college
- Experience as a HS counselor, independent counselor, or college counseling professional
- Understanding of the high school curriculum, AP, IB classes
- Knowledge of all standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and the TOEFL
- Expert knowledge of Naviance and other college admissions software
- Expertise with the differences between public, private, charter,and boarding school environments
