Job Summary
A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Commercial Counsel.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing legal support for procurement and various business units
- Supporting the development and implementation of various standardized processes and procedures
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts
Qualifications for this position include:
- High integrity, well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Practicing attorney with a current license
- Familiarity with a wide variety of commercial, licensing, hardware, services, and other software related agreements
- Minimum of 7 years of contracts drafting and negotiation experience at technology companies and/or law firms
- Understanding of contract and negotiation principles in the business and legal context
- Able to apply sound business judgment
