Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute Commercial Medical Collections Specialist in Irving.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Seeking final resolution on all denied medical claims
- Providing ongoing appropriate collection activity on appeals until the payer has responded to the appeal
- Resolving any incoming phone inquiries from insurance providers requesting medical records and/or letters of medical necessity
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Coding
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- 1 year of Medical Collections experience
- High School Diploma/GED
