Job Summary
A multinational technology firm is in need of a Telecommute Communications Strategist Digital Librarian.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the overall health of the intranet, guiding how content is organized and maintained
- Work closely with your peers on the Internal Communications team to guide the intranet’s content strategy and governance
- Lead overall taxonomy efforts for the site, including information architecture, top-level navigation, URL structures, naming conventions, labels, metadata, and more
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Master’s degree in library science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience with content management systems and systems librarianship1
- Experience identifying business stakeholders’ needs and developing user requirements
- Solid coordination skills and attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex concepts into plain language that others will be able to understand
