Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Community Campaign Organizer in the Boston Area.
Must be able to:
- Provide strategic advice, training, and support for new and existing teams
- Establish working relationships with key decision-makers, funders, media and other stakeholders
- Participate in fundraising initiatives; work with development staff to meet membership goals
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel across the state periodically, and to twice yearly staff meetings out of state
- At least three years of experience in grassroots, community, or union organizing
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to working with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Ability to work remotely and be productively self-directed and personally organized
- Emphasis on experience with leadership development, ideally in a campaign setting
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, goal-oriented, fast-paced, campaign-oriented environment
