Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Compliance Coding Educator.
Must be able to:
- Independently develop, administer, and maintain comprehensive outpatient coding education programs
- Serve as subject matter expert for all matters related to coding
- Resolve coding questions from patient inquiries or denials from insurance companies
Qualifications for this position include:
- Coding certification- CPC, CCS-P, CMC at minimum
- Compliance certification
- 3 years coding experience in a medical office, health system, or other related healthcare environment required
- Associate’s degree
- Advanced knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Advanced knowledge of clinical documentation principles
