Job Summary

An online learning provider is filling a position for a Telecommute Composite Certification Secondary Social Studies Adjunct Teacher.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Instructing students, monitoring student work, providing feedback, and suggesting instructional approaches and strategies
• Scoring assessments and projects in the given subject area
• Conducting online tutorial and instructional sessions for students (utilizing online conferencing software)

Qualifications Include:

• Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
• Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Social Studies in Texas
• Must hold or being willing to immediately obtain TxVSN Certification
• Texas Social Studies Composite Certification
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
