Job Summary

A non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Conservation Deputy National Organizing Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing leadership and direction for movement building and organizing work
  • Monitoring and tracking power building metrics and establishing new movement building indicators
  • Hiring, evaluating, coaching, training and managing 1-3 national staff members

Required Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of auto insurance
  • 5-7 years supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to develop, train and support employees, especially field organizers
  • 5-7 years’ experience in the environmental movement or social justice advocacy
  • Demonstrated commitment to and experience in advancing equity, inclusion and justice
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in office management, budget planning and management
