Job Summary
A specialty insurance and reinsurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Construction Defect Claims Adjuster.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing claim forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records
- Investigating claims promptly and thoroughly
- Managing claims in litigation
Qualifications Include:
- Ability to travel, sometimes overnight, approximately 10% of the time
- Must possess or have ability to quickly obtain a license in each jurisdiction requiring a license to adjudicate first party claims
- Ability to articulate the financial value of your work at multiple responsibility levels
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks
- A minimum of three years’ experience adjudicating construction defect claims is strongly preferred
