Job Summary
A project management company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Construction Monitoring Project Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Understanding plans, specifications, and other construction documents
- Comparing actual percent of work completed with that presented by the contractor
- Identifying deficiencies and or defects in the construction when compared to the plans
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel, on average, approximately 40% to 50% of time to client sites
- 5 years progressive experience with medium sized construction projects
- Experience managing the activities of architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Experience working with government agencies at all levels
- Working professional knowledge of construction industry estimating programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
