Job Summary

A consulting business needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Contracts Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Communicating in writing, independently preparing pre and post business clearances
  • Communicating orally in order to brief all customers on proposed acquisition cycles award processes
  • Informing program managers of any and all contract changes

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Experience with all aspects of the acquisition life cycle needed
  • Must possess experience in working with major contract types (FFP, T&M, LH) contract vehicles (BPAs, IDIQs, etc.), small business contracts, simplified and large acquisitions and similar contracting concepts
  • Strong background in acquiring commercial supplies and/or services for the Federal Government
  • Must be fully conversant in theory and application of key FAR Subparts
  • At least 5 years of federal acquisition experience is required with a Master's Degree, 7 years with a Bachelor's Degree, or an additional 2 years of general management experience and/or a PMP in lieu of a degree
